RECOGNITION

GAU RAKSHA DAL TAMILNADU is a recognized body of gau Raksha Dal (BGRD) in Tamil Nadu.
GAU RAKSHA DAL TAMILNADU got recognition from Animal Welfare Board of India in 2021.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

GAU RAKSHA DAL TAMILNADU helps farmers to raise their cattle in a healthy manner rather than sending them to illegal slaughter houses by raising funds from other welfare organizations and public.
GAU RAKSHA DAL TAMILNADU gives financial assistance to the needed Gaushala's in maintenance and safety of cattle.

FOOTPRINTS OF OUR MISSION

Rescued over 5000+ Cattles from illegal Traffickers who smuggle them for slaughter and filed FIR against offenders under PCA act. Till now we have 69+ cases filed against animal cruelty.

2015:

Rescued 57 Ongole breed cattle from illegal slaughter houses in Chennai which were cruelly harassed. The rescued cattle were kept in asylum at Sri Gokula Krishna Gaushala under the instruction of the authorities.

Rescued 600+ cattle stranded near Mudichur Tambaram,Kanchipuram district, TamilNadu due to flood.

Helped the tribal people of Thiruvallur district to renovate their damaged houses due to the flood.

2016:

Rescued 29 cattle which had been transported from Andhra Pradesh to Kerala for illegal slaughter houses.

We staged demonstration in front of Tahsildar office in Kanchipuram and near Chatram bus stand,Trichy raising slogans demanding revocation of ban on Jallikattu.

We did documentary on native breed cattle in hillocks of Bargur, Forest in Erode District where the tribal people were suffering without having enough fodder and water for the cattle.Through our documentary we raised funds of Rs. Ten Crores from other welfare organizations and public.

2017:

One Crore “Voice of Citizens” who endorsed their signature in our signature campaign for removing the ban on Jallikattu was a Success.

2018:

Rescued 39 cattle near Madhuranthankam, TamilNadu. The Cattle was transported from Andhra Pradesh to Kerala.

Organized the event “Pazhankudiyinar Sangamam” (Tribal Meet) in Thiruvallur district. Hon’ble Governor of TamilNadu, Mr. Banwarilal Purohit presided the meet as Guest of Honour.

2019:

We had rescued over 500+ cattle from illegal traffickers and have filed cases against them.

2020:

During this Covid time, our organization collected the bananas from farmers who couldn’t sell it in this pandemic and fed the monkeys in the nearby hills.
